I am a grandmother raising my granddaughter. You live for the moment when your kids are all grown up and living their lives. You then realize it's finally my turn to live my life and dreams. Suddenly, out of nowhere, you find yourself back in motherhood. I wouldn't know what to do if it wasn't for organizations like Legacy Support Alliance that you can contact for resources and help. This organization has helped me with clothing for my grandchild when it was time to go to school, and they have also helped with food insecurities. I don't know how I would have made it without someone to call or lean on for some assistance. I hope they will develop ideas to help grandparents have an hour or two break occasionally. I'm ever so grateful for this organization.
